I am very pleased with the SL Datakatch Palm™ solution provided by Baltek Logistics, for the efficient tracking of our inbound and outbound Returnable Steel Container (RSC) inventory.

With such large amounts of money tied up in our RSC inventory, Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. turned to Baltek Logistics to provide Palm™ scanning and web server integration to our centralized A/S400 host.

Each warehouse in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal scans the incoming or outgoing RSC bar code, inserts the Palm™ device into a modem cradle and electronically transmits the data via internet to a secure server. A timer on the A/S400 downloads the information from the web server throughout the day. This technology has provided us the capability of electronically auditing and recording the movement of the RSC inventory.

Quite simply, Canadian Kawasaki Motors Inc. could not be more pleased.
